What We Offer on the Gaming Floor
At our venue on 64 Queens Promenade, North Shore, Blackpool FY2 9QG, we run a full casino floor with staffed tables and electronic gaming. It is a proper mix, not just a couple of tables next to a bank of slots. Live tables usually start from 5pm every day, so it is useful to keep that time in mind if you are coming mainly for live play.
Our main live table games are Blackjack, American Roulette, Three Card Poker and Baccarat. We keep electronic roulette and slots available throughout normal venue hours. So if you walk in before 5pm, there is still gaming on offer while the live tables are getting ready. Our LIVE e-tables sit between the two worlds a bit - real-time games, but you play through a terminal, which helps if you want the live experience without waiting around a busy table.
Poker is treated as a separate area for us. We host both tournaments and cash games from Tuesday to Sunday, making the venue a regular stop for Blackpool players who prefer structured poker rather than a quick casual game. Cash games range from £1/£1 No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha through to £2/£5 NLH and £5/£5 PLO. Timings can move around, so if you are coming for a specific tournament or cash session, it is important to call in advance and confirm the current schedule.
| Game | Format | When |
|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | Live table | From 5pm daily |
| American Roulette | Live table | From 5pm daily |
| Three Card Poker | Live table | From 5pm daily |
| Baccarat | Live table | From 5pm daily |

Opening Hours
We open our doors at 10am every day. Closing times change slightly across the week: from Sunday to Thursday we close at 4am, while on Friday and Saturday the venue runs until 5am. The venue is closed on Christmas Day. The bar follows its own timetable, usually from 2pm through to 3am.
There is no admission fee. You can walk in without paying at the door, and for a standard visit you do not need a membership. We do apply a smart-casual dress code though, so it is worth planning your outfit in advance. Turning up in full sportswear can lead to a conversation at the entrance that most people prefer to skip. Anyone who appears under 21 will be asked to show valid photo ID before entering or playing - that requirement is strict and we keep to it.
| Day | Opens | Closes |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday - Thursday | 10:00 | 04:00 |
| Friday - Saturday | 10:00 | 05:00 |
| Bar | 14:00 | 03:00 |

Reaching us is usually simple. We sit on Queens Promenade in the North Shore area, and local buses and trams serve the promenade. The closest tram stop is the Cabin stop. If you are driving, we have a free on-site car park for customers. That is useful, especially at weekends when parking around Blackpool can be awkward and time-consuming.
Planning Your First Visit
If you have not been to a casino before, it is often easier to arrive earlier in the evening. The gaming floor tends to be quieter, the staff have a bit more time to talk through basics, and you have space to get used to the layout before the late-night crowd builds up.
A typical visit to Genting Casino Blackpool usually looks something like this:
- Start by checking whether you are coming on a weekday or a weekend night, as closing times differ by an hour.
- Work out your route - by tram to the Cabin stop, by local bus, or by car using our free parking on site.
- Pick out smart-casual clothing. You do not need black-tie, but very casual sportswear is not in line with our dress policy.
- Put a photo ID in your wallet if there is any chance you look under 21. It is easier to have it ready than to be turned away.
- If you arrive before 5pm, remember that the bar opens from 2pm and all the electronic gaming is already running.
- For poker nights, call us on +44 (0)1253 352628 before travelling so you know the current tournament and cash game times.
